Come join us as we learn the basics of fermentation, focusing on wild yeast that surrounds us constantly and engaging in the history, health and spriritual aspects of these micro-organisms that we are infinitely connected to. We will witness the the alchemy of merging the elements in our enviroment to build a healthy, vital and live food item that we thrive on and understand at a new level the unity of the environment inside and outside of our bodies. We will look at how communities and cultures around the world are built upon these ferments, bringing us closer to each other and the enviroment surrounding us. My goal is for each one of you to leave feeling able and inspired to go home and ferment and to leave behind any fear that may be blocking or stopping you from merging deeper with the enviroments within and without!
About Amelia Hall
Over the past few years I have delved into learning about wild herbs and plants. Inspired last year by Daniel Vitalis's teachings, I realized the vastness of wild ferments and all they encompass, gaining a deep love for micro-organisms, the un-seen wonders! Over the past year I have experimented with both wild and controlled yeast and bacteria. This has helped me open up to my environment and the elements surrounding me, allowing me to lose fear of the 'wild'. Always intrigued by community, I know I have another community to work and play with. Fermenting has shown me that building healthy vital cultures outside myself is also building healthy enviroments withing myself!
